A leading catering firm is looking for an experienced Food Services Manager to oversee operations and manage a team. This role includes budgeting, recruiting staff, ensuring compliance with health regulations, and addressing customer concerns. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in hospitality and 3 to 5 years of relevant experience. The position is permanent and full-time, located on-site at 100 Elder St, and offers an hourly salary of $36.00 to $38.00, working 30-40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• 3 to <5 years in food services or hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, develop and monitor the restaurant's budget to maintain profits.
• Determine costs of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies.
• Evaluate daily operations and modify food preparation methods and menu prices as needed.
• Plan and organize daily operations.
• Recruit, schedule, supervise and train staff.
• Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms.
• Conduct performance reviews and cost product and service pricing.
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
• Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies.
• Address customers’ complaints or concerns.
