A community-focused primary school is seeking a part-time Catering Assistant to support kitchen preparation and stock handling, starting January 2026. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a basic understanding of food hygiene. Chapmanslade CofE Primary School is looking for a Catering Assistant to join its dedicated and friendly team to provide support with kitchen preparation and stock handling, starting in January 2026.
Fixed Term (until 17th July 2026). Working Hours: Part time (10 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 38 weeks per year, no Teacher Training days).
We are a small and convivial primary school with Christianity at our heart. Reporting to the Executive Chef Manager, the successful candidate will be organised and consistent, with a good practical aptitude and must be able to observe health and safety regulations. Experience is preferred, although training will be provided by our expert team.
