Diamond Blaque is seeking a highly skilled Category Manager specialising in ConstructionandHousing Procurement Projects for a reputable public sector organisation based in Greenwich, London. This temporary role is integral to overseeing the procurement processes for construction and housing projects, ensuring compliance with procurement regulations whilst delivering value for money. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, and providing expert guidance to project teams. The contract is initially for 6 months, with the possibility of extension based on performance, and offers a competitive hourly rate. The successful candidate must demonstrate strong project management skills, procurement expertise, and experience in the construction or housing sectors within a public organisation.

Qualifications
  • Experience as a Category Manager in Construction or Housing Procurement
  • Proven track record in managing procurement projects within the public sector
  • Excellent knowledge of procurement regulations and compliance requirements
  • Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to develop and implement procurement strategies tailored to construction and housing projects
  • Relevant qualifications in procurement or project management are desirable

This opportunity offers a competitive daily rate of £321.00 PAYE or £400.00 Umbrella / Ltd, inside IR35.
