As a Streetscene Operative, you’ll be at the heart of our frontline services, helping to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of public spaces across the New Forest. Whether working solo or as part of a team, you’ll carry out a wide range of tasks including:
You’ll be a visible ambassador for the Council, often the first point of contact for residents and visitors, so a friendly and professional approach is essential.

You will be working from our Lymington depot. As a casual worker your working days will vary based on operational priorities, staff sickness and holiday absence.
This is an outdoor role in all weather conditions, involving repeated manual handling. Full PPE and training are provided to ensure your safety.
