Casual Personal Support / Care Worker for lady with MND - Cannock - £13.89 per hour

Are you passionate about providing life-changing care? We’re looking for a dedicated Female Complex Care Assistant to join our compassionate team in the Cannock area where you'll have the opportunity to support one individual client in a truly meaningful way on a casual basis.

In this unique role, you’ll be working closely with a person living with Motor Neurone Disease, helping them maintain their independence and live life to the fullest – both at home and out in the community. You’ll be part of a small, friendly team providing 1:1 or 2:1 support, depending on the shift. Our small teams of Personal Assistants provide bespoke, person centered care to really make a difference in our clients lives. You’ll only be working with one client which enables you to truly get to know them and make a meaningful difference each day.

You must be comfortable with pets as there are several cats in the client's home.

This will be a casual role to provide cover when required.

All training is provided and will consist of e-learning courses, face-to-face sessions, practical training, clinical training and competencies. The training is bespoke to the client and fully comprehensive for meeting their needs. We also provide refresher training on a regular basis, to keep your knowledge and skills current.

You should also have:

• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Flexibility to cover annual leave and sickness.

This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check. You must also have eligibility to work in the UK. Sponsorship is not offered. Please use the job reference SSL/KF/WS12 on your application form.
