We have a great opportunity to join our team at Avon View as a Casual Care Assistant.
Located just outside Christchurch, Avon View is a residential home offering nursing, palliative, residential, and dementia care across three floors. We support individuals with complex needs through a compassionate, person‑centred approach.
You will be supporting our clients with personal care, nutrition and hydration whilst maintaining their dignity and privacy. You will comply with Health and Safety requirements in respect of moving and assisting and the use of equipment.
We are seeking candidates who have a genuine wish to make people’s lives better by actively supporting our clients and who are committed to sharing our vision of ‘improving lives and building independence’.
You should be a strong team player with a positive attitude and a flexible approach. Competent IT skills are desirable with the ability to keep accurate records.
