CASS Oversight Associate - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

A bit about the job

As a CASS Oversight Associate you will play a key role in ensuring Aviva Investors asset management business complies with CASS regulations. This involves overseeing and monitoring adherence through a structured schedule of activities providing management information and reporting on findings and supporting the wider business to maintain robust CASS‑compliant processes. You will develop and maintain in‑depth knowledge of the CASS rulebook and stay informed on regulatory developments including FCA policy statements and industry trends. Additionally you will build a strong understanding of the operational and regulatory obligations of an asset manager operating in the UK.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and monitor adherence to CASS regulations via a structured schedule of activities.
  • Provide management information and reporting on findings.
  • Support the wider business to maintain robust CASS‑compliant processes.
  • Develop and maintain in‑depth knowledge of the CASS rulebook.
  • Stay informed on regulatory developments including FCA policy statements and industry trends.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Experience of retail Asset Management or other financial services operations.
  • Experience of account reconciliations and/or structured control checks.
  • Regulatory reporting and oversight experience helpful; CASS knowledge preferred but not essential (training will be provided).
  • Degree or relevant professional qualification desirable but not essential.
  • Investment Operations Certificate (IOC) desirable but not essential.
