Overview

SF are currently recruiting for a Cash Management Assistant to join a well-established business in Derby on a 2 year FTC. This role is suitable for those early in their finance career as extensive experience is not required, but an exposure to finance and drive to succeed is beneficial.

You will work on a hybrid basis, needing to be in the office (central Derby) 2 days per week. Salary: £25,300 per annum.

Purpose

The main purpose of this role is to support a busy treasury function to ensure all bank transactions are processed on a timely basis.

Duties
  • Posting of bank transactions
  • Reconciling bank statements and allocation of payments and receipts
  • Managing payments, ensuring they are set up correctly
  • Assisting with cash flow forecasting
  • Ensure that all BACS and transfer requests have been processed
  • Monitor the treasury inbox and resolve queries
Requirements
  • Be able to communicate effectively
  • High level of accuracy and strong numeric skills
  • Be able to identify and resolve problems
  • Be results oriented with the ability to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines
  • Have a customer focused approach
  • Resilience, energy and enthusiasm to achieve goals
  • Experience in the above duties is advantageous but not essential
