Job summary

The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) is recruiting Work Coaches to help customers move into work across local offices. You will provide practical guidance on job searching, benefits and work-related support, using face-to-face, digital and telephone channels.

You will build relationships with claimants, employers and colleagues, comply with the Equality Act, manage your caseload and make timely decisions to help people progress into work.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering quality advice to customers about job search.
• Ability to work with face-to-face, digital and telephone channels.
• Commitment to equality and the Equality Act 2010.

Responsibilities

• Support customers claiming benefits and seeking work (Universal Credit, JSA, Income Support).
• Offer practical job-search guidance and match to suitable vacancies in a largely digital world.
• Maintain caseloads and make timely decisions for customers' progression into work.
