Job summary

Career Choices Dewis Gyrfa Ltd is seeking an experienced Care Team Leader for Sedgemoor Care Home. You will lead a dedicated care team, ensure high-quality personal care, and support residents to thrive in a warm, home-like environment.

The role requires at least 2 years in social care, QCF Level 2 or higher, and 36 hours per week with day shifts and alternate weekends. We offer development, funded training up to QCF Level 5, and a competitive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example, providing high-quality care and companionship.
• Support residents with personal care and daily living.
• Encourage independence and wellbeing.
• Plan and take part in meaningful activities and outings.
• Oversee medication administration and accurate record-keeping.
• Work closely with families and healthcare professionals.
• Support and guide the care team, stepping up in the absence of senior management.
