Job summary

Agincare Group is seeking an experienced Care Team Leader at Waterloo care home in the UK. The role focuses on leading a care team, delivering compassionate daily care, and supporting residents and families to thrive.

You will oversee personal care, promote wellbeing, and plan activities while ensuring safe medication administration. The position requires 2+ years in social care and a Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards), with 42 hours per week and day shifts.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in social care.
  • Qualified to Health & Social Care Level 3, or working towards it.
  • Previous experience in a care home setting.
  • Willingness to work day shifts, 42 hours per week and alternate weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Lead by example to provide high-quality care and companionship.
  • Support residents with personal care and daily living activities.
  • Encourage independence and wellbeing among residents.
  • Plan and participate in meaningful activities and outings.
  • Oversee medication administration and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate closely with families and healthcare professionals.
  • Support and guide the care team and step in when senior management is unavailable.
