Job summary

Agincare Weymouth is seeking a dedicated Care Team Leader at Cheriton Care Home in Dorchester to lead a compassionate team and support residents daily.

You will oversee personal care, medication administration, activities, and work closely with families and health professionals to ensure a safe, warm home environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months’ right to work in the UK.
• At least 2 years’ experience in social care.
• QCF Level 2 (or above).
• 42 hours per week (day shifts).
• Availability to work alternate weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example, providing high-quality care and companionship
• Support residents with personal care and daily living
• Encourage independence and wellbeing
• Plan and take part in meaningful activities and outings
• Oversee medication administration and accurate record-keeping
• Work closely with families and healthcare professionals
• Support and guide the care team, stepping up in the absence of senior management

We’re looking for
