Southern Housing is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to provide high-quality care across our supported housing schemes and local community. You will support residents to live independently, following personalised care plans with dignity, choice and inclusion.

The role requires flexibility, including evenings, weekends, sleep-ins and on-call duties, and involves moving and handling and responding calmly in emergencies.

Qualifikationen

• GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English
• Willingness to work towards NVQ Level 2 in Care (or equivalent)
• No previous experience required – full training and support provided

• Provide care and support in line with individual care plans
• Promote independence, choice and inclusion for residents
• Be flexible to work evenings, weekends, sleep-ins and on-call rotas
• Move and handle safely and respond calmly in emergencies
• Follow safeguarding procedures and maintain dignity in all interactions
