Job summary

Southern Housing is seeking a dedicated Care & Support Worker to provide personalised care across its schemes and community services. You’ll join a supportive team delivering in a CQC-regulated environment, promoting dignity, choice and inclusion.

The role requires flexibility to cover evenings, weekends, sleep-ins, and on‑call duties, with full training provided. You’ll help residents live as independently as possible while respecting safety and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Commitment to personal centred support for residents.
• Ability to work across multiple sites and schemes.
• Experience not required; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and support across housing schemes, extra care services and community.
• Deliver care in line with individual care plans to promote independence, dignity and inclusion.
• Assist with moving and handling and participate in on-call or sleep-in duties as required.
