Job summary

Southern Housing is seeking caring care and support workers to provide personalised, high-quality assistance to residents across our supported housing schemes and local community. You will follow individual care plans, promoting dignity, choice and inclusion to help people live as independently as possible.

This hands-on role requires flexibility, including evenings and weekends, sleep-in duties or on-call rotas, and moving and handling tasks.

Qualifications

• 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English.
• Willingness to work towards an NVQ Level 2 in Care (or equivalent).
• No previous experience required; full training and support will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide care across supported housing schemes and local community.
• Follow individual care plans to promote independence, dignity and inclusion.
• Move and handle tasks; respond calmly in emergencies.
• Work evenings, weekends, sleep-in duties or on-call rotas as required.
