A healthcare staffing organization is seeking a Senior Healthcare Assistant for Woking Community Hospital. This role provides flexible shifts in a community setting, supporting multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 6 months of experience in a community environment and must possess a Care Certificate or vocational level 2. The Senior Healthcare Assistant role will support the Multi‑Disciplinary Teams (MDT) on the ward to provide safe, effective care, facilitating patients to reach their optimum level of independence. This includes the undertaking of extended tasks, providing direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).
The Senior Healthcare Assistant will work across a seven‑day week in a long‑day shift pattern, promoting a consistent approach to the care and rehabilitation of patients by all staff.
To be part of the ward MDT and assist in the implementation of specific treatment programmes or interventions as delegated by qualified therapy and nursing staff.

Pay range: £14.28 – £19.04 per hour
