Experienced Care Assistants Wanted (Car Drivers Essential) - Consistent Shifts Available

Are you an experienced Care Assistant seeking consistent shifts in a supportive, slower-paced, reablement-focused residential setting?

We are looking for dedicated individuals to join our team, working within a residential care home that supports 20 residents, each living in their own purpose-built flat with 24-hour care.

The Role & Setting

• Focus: This service operates on a reablement-focused model, concentrating on promoting residents' independence and life skills.
• Support: You will support residents who require Personal Care, use of hoists (Moving & Handling), and some Mental Health support.
• Experience Required:
  • Essential: Proven, recent experience in Moving & Handling and Personal Care.
  • Training: Must possess Scottish in-person care training (online training cannot be accepted).
• Consistency is Key: We are looking for staff who can commit to a regular, consistent schedule, rather than ad-hoc cover, to ensure continuity of care. Carers are allocated to a regular team.

Shifts Available

We offer set shift patterns, providing stability for our team:

• Early Shift: 7:30 am - 3:30 pm
• Late Shift: 1:30 pm - 10:00 pm
• Note: No double shifts are available.

Driver Requirement - Essential

• You must be a Car Driver with access to your own vehicle.
• Public transport is not available for weekend shifts.
