Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is seeking an experienced Administrator to join our home’s management team in Banbury. You will support the General Manager by handling customer experience, HR, recruitment, payroll, finance and supervising junior admin staff.

The role requires strong IT skills, excellent organisation and the ability to guide others, creating a positive impression with residents, families and colleagues. You’ll be integral to maintaining a high-quality, well-run home.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role.
• Involvement in HR administration and recruitment.
• High level of attention to detail and the ability to prioritise.
• Proficient user of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Promote a warm and welcoming environment for residents, staff and visitors.
• Manage enquiries and home showrounds, and handle customer database to support commercial performance.
• Drive occupancy and uphold the home’s reputation as part of the community.
• Support resident and family feedback with a focus on customer care.
• Assist with recruitment, new starter checks and inductions.
• Payroll preparation for home-based staff.
