Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is seeking an experienced Administrator to support the General Manager and the home management team. The role covers customer experience, HR, recruitment, payroll, and finances, with supervision of junior administration staff.

The successful candidate will be self-sufficient, professional, and able to promote a positive image while handling IT tasks and staff direction. Strong Microsoft Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer facing role.
• Involvement in HR administration and recruitment.

Responsibilities

• Promote a warm and welcoming environment for residents, staff and visitors.
• Manage enquiries and showrounds of the home for prospective families and manage the customer database to support performance.
• Drive occupancy and reputation of the Care Home as part of a community engagement team.
• Support resident and family feedback with a focus on customer care.
• Assist with recruitment of home staff, including checks and inductions.
• Payroll preparation for home based staff.
• Provide guidance to employees on HR queries.
• Attend meetings and produce notes/minutes.
