Barchester Healthcare is seeking an experienced Administrator to join the home management team. You will support the General Manager across customer experience, HR, recruitment, payroll, and finances while supervising junior administrators.

The role requires a self-sufficient, professional individual who communicates well, organises effectively, and helps present a positive image of the home to residents, families and visitors.

Competenze

• Experience in a customer facing role.
• Involvement in HR administration and recruitment.
• High level of attention to detail and ability to prioritise.
• Proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook.
• CIPD qualification would be beneficial.

Mansioni

• Promote a warm and welcoming environment for residents, staff and visitors.
• Manage enquiries and showrounds of the home for prospective families and manage the customer database.
• Drive occupancy and reputation as part of the community engagement team.
• Support resident and family feedback with a focus on customer care.
• Assist with recruitment, new starter checks and inductions.
• Payroll preparation for home based staff.
• Provide HR guidance and answer queries using available tools.
• Ensure personal files are stored securely.
• Attend meetings and produce notes and minutes.
• Ensure rotas are complete.
• Manage cash, petty cash and resident fund accounts.
• Update training, supervisions and appraisals on staff records.
• Offer guidance on staff development and Apprenticeships.
