Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is seeking an experienced Administrator to support the General Manager and home management team. The role covers customer experience, HR, recruitment, payroll, finance and supervision of junior admin staff, with a focus on delivering high-quality care and a professional image.

The Administrator will also manage staff records, rota data, and assist with training updates while promoting a positive home environment and excellent resident experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role.
• Involvement in HR administration and recruitment.
• High level of attention to detail and ability to prioritise.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• CIPD qualification would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Promote a warm, welcoming environment for residents, staff and visitors.
• Manage enquiries and showrounds for prospective families and handle customer data to support commercial performance.
• Drive occupancy and reputation as part of community engagement.
• Support resident and family feedback with a focus on customer care.
• Assist with recruitment and staff inductions.
