Barchester Healthcare is seeking an experienced Administrator to join our home management team, supporting the General Manager with HR, recruitment, payroll, finances and the administration team.

The role combines customer experience duties with office administration, requiring strong IT skills, attention to detail, and the ability to lead others while maintaining a professional image.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer facing role.
• Involvement in HR administration and recruitment.
• High level of attention to detail and the ability to prioritise.
• Proficient user of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Promote a warm and welcoming environment for residents, staff and visitors.
• Manage enquiries and showrounds of the home for prospective families, including managing the customer database to support performance.
• Drive occupancy and reputation of the care home as part of a community engagement team.
• Assist with recruitment of home staff, completing new starter checks and inductions.
• Payroll preparation for home-based staff.
• Provide advice and guidance to employees on queries using HR tools.
