Overview

Care Director - Children's Services, Residential Care. Transitional Services. Birmingham, West Midlands.

My client is a well established care group, looking to appoint an experienced individual into a key role within the senior leadership team, as Director of Care. They have a range of services for adults and young people, and whilst they already have a successful portfolio you will be joining at a crucial point in time where the organisation will be embarking on a period of expansion and service development. You will play a critical role in not only driving excellence within the existing services, but also the design, development and opening of new services.

Responsibilities
  • Drive excellence within existing services and lead the design, development and opening of new services as part of an expansion and service development plan.
  • Develop and lead a high-performing team of Home Managers, enabling and empowering them to strive towards Outstanding ratings with Ofsted.
  • Align growth initiatives with the highest standards of quality, compliance and safety.
Qualifications
  • Solid commercial skills and an excellent understanding of the care sector, ideally gained in children's services.
  • In-depth knowledge of quality, compliance, legislation and regulatory requirements.
