Luxuricare Ltd is seeking a Care Coordinator to plan weekly rotas, match carers to clients, and keep visits on schedule. The role is office-based with day shifts and DBS check.
You will work with the Registered Manager on new packages and capacity, coordinating with families and carers, and using Birdie for scheduling. Experience in care coordination is valued; no specific qualification is required.
The Care Coordinator plans the rotas that keep visits running. You match the right carer to the right client, manage changes when they happen, and make sure the schedule holds together — which is what protects visit times on the ground.

Role Care Coordinator
Working pattern Office-based on a shift pattern that covers our daytime care rounds, 6am–9pm. Overnight services are arranged separately.
Driving A driving licence is helpful but not essential for an office-based role.
DBS An enhanced DBS check is completed before starting.
Training Induction, plus training on Birdie and our scheduling processes.
The role
A day in the role
Office-based, with phone and Birdie open. Mornings are the busiest — confirming the day's visits, handling any carer call-outs, and adjusting the rota in real time. Afternoons are for planning the coming week and handling new enquiries.
Who we are looking for
Experience: Previous experience in care coordination or scheduling is valued. Experience in domiciliary care as a carer or coordinator is ideal.
Qualifications: No specific qualification required. Familiarity with care management software is helpful.
Pay and benefits
Published up front, including the part most adverts leave out.
Competitive
salary — discussed at interview
Progression to Deputy Manager or Registered Manager for the right person.
You are coordinating for a small, local team — not a national chain. That means you know the carers and the clients, and the rotas you build make sense rather than being stretched across a county.
What supports you
Carers are usually let down by the organisation around them rather than by their own effort. These three systems exist so that does not happen here.
Structured policies and procedures that support professional standards across everything we do.
Ongoing e-learning and staff development, so our team keeps building on what they know.
