Job description

We are currently recruiting compassionate and reliable Care Assistants to join our dedicated team in Buxton. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about providing high-quality care and support to elderly residents, many of whom are living with age-related conditions such as Alzheimer’s and dementia.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting residents with their daily needs, including mobility assistance, personal hygiene, and nutritional care. Your presence and attention will help ensure that each resident’s physical and emotional wellbeing is maintained with dignity and respect.

You will also be expected to contribute to the upkeep of a clean and safe environment through general housekeeping duties. Monitoring and reporting any changes in residents’ conditions, as well as promptly communicating incidents to senior staff, are essential aspects of the role. Adherence to health and safety regulations and safeguarding procedures is required at all times.

Qualifications
  • An Enhanced DBS Certificate that is registered on the update service
  • Up to date mandatory training certificates
  • Full up-to-date CV
  • At least 2 professional references covering a minimum of 2 years working within formal care settings or community care.

We are looking for individuals who are caring, patient, and committed to improving the lives of others. While previous experience in a care setting is beneficial, it is not essential, as full training and support will be provided.

If you do not have a valid DBS and/or training, do not worry as we can help you with this. We are happy to offer online training available at a subsidised fee and the certificates are yours to keep!
