Job summary

A leading care provider in the UK is looking for a compassionate Home Care Assistant to support clients in their homes. This role requires a driving license and offers hourly pay of £13.10 on weekdays and £14.10 on weekends, along with mileage reimbursement and other benefits. A day in the life of a Home Care Assistant

As a Care Assistant, you will help support our clients in a variety of ways depending on their needs. This could include providing personal care, administering medication, light domestic duties, preparing meals and snacks, shopping and companionship. But your most profound impact comes from the simple, everyday moments of connection, companionship and kindness you bring to those you care for.

We structure our rounds to keep travel within a small, manageable area, allowing you to develop strong, long-term relationships with your clients. However, there may be occasional instances where you’ll need to travel a bit further.

About You
  • You don’t need to have previous experience or qualifications in care, what’s important is you are passionate and motivated and you want to help in your community.
  • No experience necessary - We provide comprehensive training, free of charge.
  • Good people skills and the ability to show strong empathy, with a caring and compassionate nature.
  • A positive & professional team working ethos.
  • A minimum of 12 months on your right to work.
  • Driving license and use of own car is required for this role.
  • Flexibility to cover shift patterns between 7am - 10pm.
