Job summary

Agincare is seeking a Care Assistant in Weston-super-Mare to provide compassionate in-home support. This is a part-time role requiring 24 hours per week and includes alternate weekends.

Responsibilities

• Companionship - Providing support, companionship, communication and engagement.
• Personal care - supporting with a wash, bath or shower and assisting with dressing and oral care.
• Medication - Prompting, assisting or administering medications and creams.
• Meals - Supporting the client with healthy meals, snacks and beverages.
• Domestic tasks - light cleaning tasks.
• Mobility - Supporting the client to live as independently as possible with their mobility.
• Social activities - Trips out, social engagements and activities within the home.
