Job summary

Agincare is seeking a dedicated Night Care Assistant to join a Gloucestershire care home. The role offers 24 hours per week on a night shift, with relocation or travel flexibility encouraged for those able to drive or live nearby.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK
• Must have experience in a care setting
• This is a night shift position, you will be expected to work 24 hours per week, including alternate weekends
• Must be able to drive or live close to the home

Responsibilities

• Companionship - Providing support, companionship, communication and engagement
• Personal care - supporting with a wash, bath or shower and assisting with dressing and oral care
• Medication - Prompting, assisting or administering medications and creams
• Meals – Supporting the client with healthy meals, snacks and beverages
• Domestic tasks - light cleaning tasks
• Mobility - Supporting the client to live as independently as possible with their mobility
• Social activities- Trips out, social engagements and activities within the home

A day in the life of a Care Assistant
