Job summary

Agincare is seeking a Night Care Assistant in Cirencester, Gloucestershire. 24 hours per week with alternate weekends. Must have care experience and rights to work in the UK. Driving or living close to the home is preferred.

You will provide companionship, personal care, medication prompting, meals, light domestic tasks, mobility support and social activities within the home.

Qualifications

• 12 months right to work in the UK is required.
• Experience in a care setting is required.

Responsibilities

• Companionship - Providing support, companionship, communication and engagement.
• Personal care - supporting with a wash, bath or shower and helping the client with dressing and oral care.
• Medication - Prompting, assisting or administering medications and creams.
• Meals – Supporting the client with healthy meals, snacks and beverages.
• Domestic tasks - light cleaning tasks.
• Mobility - Supporting the client to live as independently as possible with their mobility.
• Social activities - Trips out, social engagements and activities within the home.

A day in the life of a Care Assistant
