Job summary

Agincare is seeking a Care Assistant in Bath to join a growing, family-owned care provider with 40 years of experience. We offer full-time and part-time positions, with shift patterns around school pick-up/drop-off and a requirement to be flexible for alternate weekends. Applicants must have a minimum of 12 months right to work in the UK.

A day in the life includes companionship, personal care, medication prompting, meals, domestic tasks, mobility support, and social activities within the home.

Responsibilities

• Companionship - Providing support, companionship, communication and engagement.
• Personal care - supporting with a wash, bath or shower and assisting with dressing and oral care.
• Medication - Prompting, assisting or administering medications and creams.
• Meals – Supporting the client with healthy meals, snacks and beverages.
• Domestic tasks - light cleaning tasks.
• Mobility - Supporting the client to live as independently as possible with their mobility.
• Social activities- Trips out, social engagements and activities within the home.

• A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK
• Full time and part time positions available
• Will consider shift patterns around school pick-up/drop-off
• You must be flexible to work alternate weekends
• Shift patterns include - 08:00 - 14:00, 14:00 - 20:00 and 8:00 to 20:00
• There are also bank roles available, these are zero hour contracts and you will be required to be flexible to work as and when required

• Social activities- Trips out, social engagements and activities within the home.
