Job summary

Agincare is seeking a Housekeeper at Sedgemoor care home in Weston-super-Mare to maintain clean communal areas and residents' rooms, ensuring safety and comfort for all. You will join a welcoming team that values care and respect in daily housekeeping tasks.

Flexibility to work alternate weekends is required. Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning is essential, and you will contribute to delivering high standards of hygiene across the home.

A day in the life of a Housekeeper

• Communal cleaning - ensure the communal areas are kept clean and safe for residents and employees
• Domestic tasks -dust, polish and vacuum residents’ bedrooms thoroughly and ensuring use of appropriate warning signs when required
• Collaboration - work closely with the home management team to ensure the home meets the standards of hygiene and cleanliness
• Companionship- Provide support , communication and engagement to residents.
