Job summary

Agincare Group is hiring a dedicated Care Assistant in Coleford for a full-time 36-hour week with alternate weekends. Flexibility for 6- and 12-hour shifts is required, and a minimum of 12 months right to work in the UK is essential.

You will provide companionship, personal care, medication support, meals, light domestic tasks, mobility assistance and facilitate social activities within the home. Experience in care is preferred but a caring attitude and reliability are key.

Responsibilities

• Companionship - Providing support, companionship, communication and engagement.
• Personal care - supporting with a wash, bath or shower and supporting the client with dressing and oral care.
• Medication - Prompting, assisting or administering medications and creams.
• Meals – Supporting the client with healthy meals, snacks and beverages.
• Domestic tasks - light cleaning tasks.
• Mobility - Supporting the client to live as independently as possible with their mobility.
• Social activities - Trips out, social engagements and activities within the home.
