Job summary

Windmill Lodge Care Home in Lytham St Annes is seeking a Care Assistant to support residents with daily living, dignity and wellbeing. The role is bank contracted with flexible day and night shifts and full training provided.

You will follow care plans, support mobility and nutrition, and help maintain a respectful, person-centred environment where residents feel valued and safe. Previous experience is beneficial but not essential.

Windmill Lodge Care Home is a modern, purpose built 205 bed care home in Lytham St Annes, Lancashire, delivering high quality residential, nursing, dementia and respite care within a warm, supportive and person centred environment.

Care Assistant Contract

• £12.71 per hour
• Contracted to 0 hours per week
• Paid DBS pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.

Shifts available are: 7.45am - 8pm and 7.45pm - 08.00am
