Job summary

Pottersway House Care Home in Church Lawton near Alsager is seeking a Care Assistant on a full/part-time basis. The role includes supporting residents with daily living, personal care and mobility, under guided care plans, in a warm, respectful environment.

We offer training, ongoing development, weekend shifts on a rota, and benefits such as DBS/pension, and uniform provision. NVQ2 desirable or willingness to work towards. A friendly team awaits you.

Contract: Full Time and Part- Time

Our new, luxury care home is nestled in the charming village of Church Lawton, near Alsager. We provide exceptional standards of Residential, Dementia, Nursing, and Respite Care for 60-residents.

Care Assistant Contract

• £12.71 per hour
• Full time and Part time hours available
• Paid DBS pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.

The successful candidate will be required to work alternate weekends.
