Job summary

Worsley Lodge, part of Care Concern Group, is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to provide person-centred care for residents in a welcoming Manchester home. You will assist with daily living, follow care plans and support residents’ independence with dignity and comfort.

The role welcomes experienced carers and newcomers alike, with full training, guidance and ongoing development to help you grow in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

  • Caring, compassionate and respectful approach.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Reliable, positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Experience is beneficial but not essential; Level 2 desirable or willingness to work towards.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high quality, person-centred care to residents.

About Worsley Lodge

Worsley Lodge is a welcoming 48 bed care home in Worsley, Manchester, providing residential care for older people. Our dedicated team provides compassionate, person centred care, supporting residents to maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life in a warm and supportive environment.

Care Assistant Contract
  • £13.45- £13.95per hour
  • Contracted to 33 or 44 hours per week
  • Paid DBS pension, uniform provided
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)
Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing. You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care. Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
