Job summary

Care Concern Group operates Westerton Care Home, delivering residential, dementia, nursing and respite care for residents. The Care Assistant role focuses on person-centred support, daily living tasks and contributing to residents' dignity and wellbeing.

The post welcomes both experienced carers and newcomers, with full training and ongoing development. It is an on-site position in Bearsden, Scotland, with a 44-hour week and benefits such as PVG pension and uniform provided.

Job description

Our modern care home provides the highest quality of Residential, Dementia, Nursing & Respite care for 106-residents.

Care Assistant Contract

• £13.60 per hour
• Contracted to up to 44 hours per week
• Paid PVG pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
