Job description

An exciting job opportunity has arisen for a motivated Support Worker to work in an exceptional care home based in the Eye, Diss area. You will be working for one of the UK's leading healthcare providers.

This service provides support for people with dementia and offers a range of care, including nursing, residential, and respite care.

To be considered for this position, you must hold an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or equivalent.

Key duties of the Support Worker include:

  • Being an essential part of the team, promoting well-being and providing high-quality care to residents.
  • Assisting with daily tasks, including personal care, supporting with personal hygiene, outings, and companionship.
  • Encouraging independence and supporting vulnerable individuals with their routines and activities.
  • Ensuring accurate record-keeping at all times.

Preferred skills and experience:

  • A genuine desire to care for others.
  • Being a good team player.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • A can-do attitude.

The successful candidate will receive an excellent salary of £12.60 per hour, totaling approximately £23,587.20 annually. This is a permanent, full-time role for 36 hours a week, night shifts only.
