Job description

We are looking for two Wrap Around Care Assistants to join a friendly primary school in the Crawley area, supporting children in their before and after‑school provision.

Responsibilities
  • Work with primary‑aged children in a safe, fun, and nurturing environment.
  • Deliver morning (7:30 am – 8:45 am) and afternoon (3:45 pm – 6:00 pm) shifts for breakfast and after‑school clubs.
  • Support activities, play, and routines to ensure children have a positive start and end to their school day.
  • Assist with snacks, supervision, and create a welcoming environment.
About you
  • Experience working with children (e.g., school, nursery, playgroup).
  • Enthusiastic, reliable, and able to engage children in activities.
  • Possess or be willing to obtain a DBS on the Updates Service.
  • Have a caring, supportive approach.
Must have
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion to support and empower children and young people.
  • DBS on the Updates Service or willingness to obtain one.
  • Commitment to safeguarding students and young people.
