An exciting opportunity has arisen for motivated and enthusiastic Registered Nurses to join our team in Cardiology/Cardiothoracic on Ward 4 at MRI. Ward 4 specializes in the care of cardiology and cardiac surgical patients.

Ward 4 is a busy 28 bedded acute cardiology/cardiac surgery ward with lots of opportunities to develop your clinical skills and knowledge. You'll learn about our cardiac monitoring system, use the process of telemetry along with the added advantage of training in ECG rhythm recognition.

To succeed, you\'ll need to be committed to delivering high quality, patient focused care with pride and respect, have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to provide evidence of personal and professional development. You will also be expected to work a mixture of days, nights and weekends.

In return for your skills, enthusiasm and commitment, you can expect some truly excellent development and progression opportunities and a comprehensive induction program.

Main duties of the job

Our key focus is to provide high quality care to our patients, many of whom have complex cardiology conditions, pre and post cardiac surgery and post cardiac catheter lab procedures. The ward also accommodates medical patients who may require cardiac monitoring.

Successful individuals must be highly motivated to take on this challenge and meet head on the pressure to maintain high standards and delivery of quality care.
