  • Respond to and investigate reports of malfunction of CT and MRI equipment.

Opportunity

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Cardiac Radiographer to join an expanding service in CMR and CTCA within Watford General Hospital for a fixed term, 9 months role.

Responsibilities
  • Supervision of junior staff and students, and lead the team.
  • Undertake imaging examinations within the Radiology Department to the standard required by the Department of Radiology.
  • Assist the Lead Radiographers in the day‑to‑day running of the Cardiac MRI and CT scanners, maintaining high standards at all times.
  • Depute for the Superintendent / Lead Radiographers in their absence.
  • Carry out monitoring procedures on equipment in the radiology Department, reporting any faults to the Superintendent Radiographer/Radiology Services Manager.
  • Respond to and investigate any reports of malfunction of the CT and MRI apparatus, accessories, office equipment, or computer system.
