Qualifications

• British Heart Rhythm Society (BHRS) accreditation or equivalent is required.
• Experience of assisting in Pacemaker and Implantable Loop recorder implantation is desirable.
• Understanding of cardiac procedures and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Participate in cardiac rhythm management including Pacemaker checks and programming.
• Maintain high standards of technical competency in cardiac procedures.
• Respond promptly and professionally to emergency situations.

Skills

Experience with Medtronic, Boston Scientific, Biotroniks and St Jude Pacemaker programmers

Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing

Teaching skills

Education

BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent
