Job summary

Arnold Clark Group is recruiting for a Service Advisor at our Renault/Dacia branch in Preston. You will deliver a first-class service experience to customers and coordinate with the workshop to progress repairs efficiently.

We value articulate, warm communicators who enjoy exceeding expectations and building positive outcomes for customers. This role is customer-facing, with full-time hours Monday to Friday 8am–5.30pm and some Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role is essential.
• Strong IT literacy and ability to use computer systems.
• Able to multi-task in a busy environment.
• Clear and confident communication with customers.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer requirements for service and vehicle repairs efficiently and professionally.
• Liaise with workshop and bodyshop to progress work.
• Manage computer-based jobs, purchasing, and invoicing to protect customer and company interests.
• Inform customers of faults or repairs and provide clear solutions.
• Remain empathetic with dissatisfied customers and resolve issues.
• Keep accurate customer vehicle records and service histories.
• Maintain knowledge of aftersales products and services and upsell where appropriate.
• Ensure the customer database is up-to-date at all times.
