Job summary

South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a full-time Team Leader in the Cancer Services Management Team to support the General Manager for Cancer Services. The role oversees MDT Facilitators and Trackers, drives cancer access targets, and coordinates data for the COSD, while working mostly on site with occasional meetings outside normal hours.

Strong Office skills and cancer services experience are preferred, with leadership responsibilities across administration and project

Qualifications

• ILM or supervisory-level management training or equivalent.
• Relevant diploma or degree required.
• Experience in managerial administrative role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager for Cancer Services in delivering operational admin.
• Deliver cancer access targets and COSD data collection.
• Line manage MDT Facilitators and Trackers, including recruitment and training.
• Plan MDT staffing weekly and manage budgeted stationery/equipment orders.
• Track patient pathways and liaise with clinical teams for timely treatment.
• Attend weekly meetings to address pathway problems using escalation grid.
• Validate breaches with the data manager and maintain Priority Tracking List.
• Produce weekly reports on tertiary referrals and ensure data accuracy.
