Job summary

Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Cancer MDT Coordinator to provide full administrative support for local cancer MDTs, coordinating meetings and ensuring timely patient pathways.

You will compile MDT lists with radiology/pathology data, liaise with consultants and secretaries, and ensure reports are available ahead of each MDT. The role emphasizes data accuracy in SCR and adherence to Cancer Waiting Times targets.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting cancer MDTs and NHS procedures.
• Strong data management and SCR familiarity.
• Ability to liaise with clinicians and admin teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide full administrative support for cancer MDTs.
• Prepare MDT lists with radiology/pathology results for MDT discussion.
• Attend the MDT meeting and record minutes live.
• Ensure timely referrals and track patient journey to meet waiting times targets.
• Maintain SCR data and ensure completeness of patient pathway information.
