Job summary

University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an MDT Co-ordinator passionate about Cancer Services. You will organise and prioritise workloads, support a team, and help ensure timely patient journeys through the cancer pathway.

The role emphasises data accuracy, handling sensitive information, and knowledge of the NHS long term plan, COSD and Cancer Waiting Times datasets, with opportunities for development and training.

Qualifications

• Experience of identifying and rectifying data quality issues.
• Ability to handle highly sensitive information and maintain data confidentiality.
• Familiarity with NHS datasets and cancer waiting times data (COSD/NHS Long Term Plan).

Responsibilities

• Monitor, report, and track patients with suspected or diagnosed cancer.
• Coordinate MDT discussions and ensure patient journeys are timely and compliant with clinical guidance.
• Collaborate with clinical and non-clinical staff to support data collection and administration.
