Senior Calibration Engineer - Hybrid Powertrain Focus

The Role

We're looking for a Senior Calibration Engineer to lead advanced calibration activities and guide customers through complex hybrid powertrain development. This is a strategic, technically demanding role that combines leadership, innovation, and deep technical expertise.

What You'll Be Doing

• Own calibration strategy and execution for hybrid powertrain systems to meet stringent performance, emissions, and drivability targets.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Analyse complex datasets to diagnose and resolve system-level issues.
• Act as the primary technical liaison with customers and cross-functional teams.
• Define validation plans and oversee execution, ensuring compliance with project milestones.
• Drive tool development and process optimisation for calibration workflows.
• Represent the company during international test trips and customer engagements.
• Expertise in one or more areas such as after-treatment, OBD, thermal management, or hybrid operating strategy is highly desirable.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in powertrain calibration, with significant exposure to hybrid systems.
• Advanced knowledge of PCM software and calibration tools (INCA, CANalyzer, CANoe, Creta, MATLAB).
• Strong understanding of functional safety standards (ISO 26262, IEC 61508).
• Proven ability to lead projects and manage customer relationships.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
