About the role

We're looking for a Team Leader to join one of our Cafés, where a friendly, fast-paced environment awaits. With a passion for providing excellent customer service, a proactive can-do attitude, and great collaboration skills, you'll help keep everyday operations running smoothly.

You'll have the opportunity to develop your skills through a variety of responsibilities, including supporting the Manager to meet business and financial goals, coaching and training team members, and leading by example with exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensuring smooth operations by maintaining safety and operational standards.
  • Meeting all food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Providing excellent customer experiences by leading by example.
  • Opening and closing the café and overseeing operations in the Manager's absence.
  • Recognising and celebrating team members for excellent service.
  • Learning the menu thoroughly and assisting team members to do the same.
  • Boosting sales by ensuring optimal staffing and service delivery.
  • Delivering health, safety, and food safety training to team members.
  • Supporting the Café Manager in coaching and developing colleagues.
  • Continuously seeking ways to improve customer service.
  • Promoting an inclusive environment where colleagues feel respected and valued.
Candidate Requirements
  • Experience in hospitality, with previous Team/Shift Leader roles.
  • A passion for delivering excellent customer service.
  • Knowledge of health & safety and food safety regulations.

Personal Skills

  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Confidence in using initiative to improve processes.
