Job description

Catch22 exists to help build a society where everyone has a good place to live, good people around them, and a fulfilling purpose. We call these our '3Ps'.

We achieve this in two ways: first, we improve lives on the frontline through the delivery of public services; second, we use our knowledge to change 'the system'—to fix the complex web that can trap and disempower those it was set up to help.

With the heart of a charity and the mindset of a business, we are uniquely placed to deliver on this challenging agenda.

Job Description

We are looking for dynamic and passionate individuals to join our sessional delivery team in the West Midlands. As a Team Leader, you will support the Programme Coordinator in delivering a portfolio of Young People’s programmes locally, including but not limited to the Summer Jobs Programme and HATCH.

We value diversity and welcome applicants from various backgrounds. We seek individuals who are proactive, organized, and resilient to meet the demands of the role and our programmes.

  • Lead, encourage, and motivate Young People enrolled in and engaging with our local development programmes.
  • Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging activities for Young People under the guidance of the Programme Coordinator.
  • Build positive relationships with Young People and their families or support networks to provide effective support and help achieve programme outcomes.
  • Assist in ensuring safeguarding, data handling, health & safety, and legal requirements are met to protect all participants and staff.
  • Complete necessary paperwork, including registers, risk assessments, safeguarding reports, and incident reports, accurately and promptly.
  • Work with the Programme Coordinator and Operations Manager to manage challenging behaviour from Young People.
  • Ensure programme content is relevant and builds on existing relationships with partners to provide a quality experience and support Young People towards positive destinations.
  • Record activities, participant contact, and outcomes, ensuring records are current for reporting purposes.
