Job description

End Point Assessor - Team Leading

This is a home-based, 100% remote role, with all learners conducting assessments online.

Contract Duration: 6 months, full-time, Monday to Friday. The contract may be extended or become permanent.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5:30 pm (flexible), with a 45-minute lunch break.

Equipment Provided: Laptop, mobile, headsets, etc.

Job Role
  • Carry out end point assessment activities and make decisions for apprenticeship standards.
  • Must have experience as an end point assessor or as an assessor preparing learners for end point assessments.
  • Conduct assessments online, with occasional visits to workplaces (expenses paid).
  • Plan meetings with apprentices and employers online.
  • Assess for Team Leading Level 3, including planning assessment schedules, marking assessments according to grading criteria, and determining overall grades.
  • Participate in standardisation and training activities.
  • Complete a full induction: 2 days remote, 3.5 days in person (all paid).
Essential Requirements
  • Assessor qualified (TAQA, A1, D32/D33, or CAVA).
  • Experience as an end point assessor or assessor in Team Leading Level 3.
  • Hold a Level 3 management qualification or have managerial/team leader experience.
  • Experience in preparing learners for end point assessments.
Salary and Benefits
  • Salary: GBP 27,311 to GBP 28,282 per annum plus GBP 4,500 London weighting or GBP 1,850 SEW depending on location.
