Job summary

Starbucks in the United Kingdom is seeking a Shift Supervisor to support store operations alongside the Store Manager and Assistant Manager. You will lead the daily work of baristas, ensure high-quality service, and uphold Starbucks standards.

This role requires strong leadership, teamwork, and the ability to maintain a welcoming, efficient store atmosphere during shifts. You will train teammates, monitor safety and cleanliness, manage cash handling, and help deliver an exceptional customer

Qualifications

Previous retail, cafe, or food-service experience preferred.
Strong leadership and team-motivation abilities.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to multi-task and stay calm in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve questions or concerns promptly.
Maintain a clean, inviting café environment and model Starbucks values.
Open and close the store following standards and procedures.
Lead shifts, guide partners, and ensure tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
Manage cash handling, till counts, and register accuracy.
Monitor beverage/food quality and adherence to Starbucks recipes and standards.
Maintain inventory and assist with restocking and ordering as needed.
Provide real-time coaching and feedback to baristas to support performance.
